About the team

UKG is transforming how Marketing plans, executes, measures, and optimizes its investments. The team is building a connected, data-driven, and agentic artificial intelligence (AI)-first marketing operating model that links planning, campaign execution, marketing automation, attribution, and performance reporting.

You’ll work across Marketing, Marketing Operations, Enterprise Data and Analytics, Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Sales, Technology, and Architecture to improve how Marketing connects its investments to pipeline and revenue.

 About the role

As Lead Product Manager, Marketing Planning & Automation, you’ll own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Marketing Planning and the integrations that connect UKG’s marketing technology ecosystem.

You’ll lead the evolution of Marketing Planning into a scalable enterprise capability that connects strategic priorities, investment allocation, campaign development, execution, measurement, attribution, and performance. This is a product leadership role—not a technology implementation role. You’ll bring expertise in end-to-end marketing processes and industry practices to shape a modern product and operating model.

 In this role, you will:

  • Lead product strategy, discovery, prioritization, minimum viable product (MVP) definition, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Connect marketing planning to campaign intake, prioritization, development, approvals, execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Establish consistent campaign taxonomies, hierarchies, metadata, governance, and business processes.
  • Enable Marketing leaders to model investment scenarios, priorities, capacity, and expected outcomes.
  • Define a connected campaign operating model across Adobe Workfront, Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, Cvent, advertising technology, and Google Analytics.
  • Eliminate manual handoffs, disconnected workflows, spreadsheets, and duplicate work across the campaign lifecycle.
  • Connect campaign and channel data to engagement, marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), business development representative (BDR) engagement, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics to deliver trusted data models, reporting, dashboards, attribution, and performance insights.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive Marketing Operations work and progress from human-driven workflows to AI-assisted and AI-driven execution.
  • Define product metrics for planning efficiency, campaign velocity, operational efficiency, adoption, data quality, attribution coverage, and business impact.
  • Shape an agentic AI-first vision for planning and attribution, including recommendations on investment, program prioritization, scaling, and optimization.
  • Establish appropriate human oversight, governance, explainability, and controls for AI-generated recommendations and decisions.
  • Drive executive alignment and communicate product strategy, decisions, risks, progress, and outcomes.

About you

Basic qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in business-to-business software as a service (B2B SaaS) or enterprise technology.
  • Deep experience in Marketing Planning, Marketing Operations, Campaign Management, Marketing Measurement, Attribution, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of how Marketing activity translates into engagement, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, data, integrations, campaign taxonomy, metadata, and measurement architecture.
  • Experience transforming manual or fragmented business processes into automated, scalable enterprise products.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major marketing automation platform, such as Eloqua, Marketo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes and analytical requirements into scalable product capabilities.
  • Experience leading product discovery, prioritization, user story development, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to define success metrics and use data to improve product and business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, executive communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.

 Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Workfront or a similar Marketing Planning or workflow platform.
  • Experience defining integrations across a broader marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Experience with campaign development workflows, marketing performance management, or enterprise attribution.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for AI agents to automate planning, analyze performance, recommend investments, or surface optimization opportunities.
  • Experience applying industry best practices in Marketing Planning, Marketing Operations, campaign measurement, attribution, or Marketing Performance Management.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
