About the Role:

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager (12-month Contract) supporting multi-product at Remitly, you'll grow engagement and retention strategies across our customers. You will be both strategic and hands-on, requiring someone who can operate with autonomy, partner directly with product and engineering teams, and build new programs that create measurable impact. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing and embody our hybrid working model, collaborating in our Seattle office 3-days/week.

You Will:

  • Build lifecycle strategy across multiple product lines, with a focus on customer engagement and retention.
  • Design and launch experiments across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging—defining hypotheses, building campaigns in Braze (or equivalent), and analyzing performance.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to define P0+ data requirements—defining latency and piping methodologies that will shape user journeys, improve product and messaging flows, and deliver scalable lifecycle and transactional programs that integrate with the product experience.
  • Collaborate with growth, analytics, product marketing, creative and design teams to align lifecycle campaigns with broader go-to-market and product strategies.

You Have:

  • 5–7 years of experience in lifecycle or growth marketing.
  • Proficient in Braze (or equivalent multi-channel engagement platforms); comfortable orchestrating multi-step, multi-channel customer journeys.
  • 3+ years of experience with data-driven decision-making: designing tests, partnering with analytics to interpret results, and applying insights to improve campaigns.
  • Experienced collaborating directly with product and engineering teams to integrate transactional and lifecycle marketing into primary product experiences.
  • Comfortable flexing between strategy, project management, and execution: from roadmap planning to writing test plans, building and QA-ing campaigns, and analyzing outcomes.
  • Experienced and passionate about creating scalable processes and constantly optimizing ways of working.
  • Curious and energized by solving complex lifecycle challenges in new businesses.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
