We're looking for a Managing Corporate Counsel – T-Ads to help lead the legal strategy behind that growth. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced commercial attorney who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and knows how to balance innovation with thoughtful risk management.
You'll lead legal support for our growing advertising technology business, partner closely with senior business leaders, and coach a talented legal team while helping scale legal processes that enable the business to move faster.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Lead legal support for T-Mobile's rapidly growing T-Ads business, serving as the primary strategic legal advisor for advertising technology and media solutions.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop practical legal strategies that accelerate business growth while appropriately managing risk.
  • Negotiate, structure, and advise on sophisticated commercial agreements involving advertising technology, media owners, publishers, DSPs, SSPs, advertisers, agencies, data providers, and strategic technology partners.
  • Provide guidance on evolving legal issues impacting advertising technology, digital media, privacy, data use, AI-enabled advertising, measurement, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop attorneys and legal professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Create scalable legal solutions—including playbooks, templates, contracting standards, and negotiation frameworks—that improve efficiency and consistency across the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement of legal processes to support a rapidly expanding global business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Sales, Business Development, Privacy, Compliance, Marketing, Security, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • Manage outside counsel strategically while balancing quality, responsiveness, and cost.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
  • Active bar membership in good standing and eligibility to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • 10+ years of transactional legal experience, including significant in-house and/or top law firm experience supporting sophisticated commercial transactions.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and leading attorneys or other legal professionals.
  • Deep experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience supporting advertising technology, digital media, marketing technology, SaaS, data licensing, or other technology-driven businesses strongly preferred.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to translate legal complexity into practical, business-focused advice.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority matters in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience developing scalable legal processes, templates, and contracting frameworks preferred.
  • International commercial experience is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $159,500 - $287,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
