Position SummaryThis role is responsible for analyzing organization processes, converting business workflows for launch, and on-going use of the CRM Platform. The Marketing Cloud Administrator (Salesforce) serves as the technical expert to all departments and areas to create, customize and improve the SF Marketing Cloud System into an effective contact/data management system through support, training, trouble shooting, as well as system customizations, reporting, and journey building. Key responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies and tactics for email outreach, lead nurturing programs, campaign management, lead lifecycle integration with Salesforce, and reporting on lead flow/progress. Marketing Cloud and Journey Builder is being used at Olin for graduate programs recruiting and admissions, executive development programs, as well as school-wide relationship management information for Business Development, Corporate Relations and Alumni and Development.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Key responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies and tactics for email and SMS text outreach, lead nurturing programs, campaign management, lead lifecycle integration with Salesforce, and reporting on lead flow/progress
  • Partner with internal marketing team and internal clients to create, manage and present an actionable plan and reporting insights that align Olin’s business objectives and targets with technical solution using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Mogli. Tests and validates solution components and provide solution walkthrough with team. Provides reporting metrics through Salesforce and Everest with recommendations for improving results
  • Build, test, report and monitor journeys within Marketing Cloud to deliver on defined objectives for both B2B and B2C audiences. Setup and deploy cross channel communications. Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create journeys using Journey Builder and sync data from Salesforce CRM to Marketing Cloud and back.
  • Work with brand management and creative team to create and customize platform template (themes, logos, landing pages, email, forms, banner graphics, page graphics, CTAs, buttons) within Marketing Cloud for B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Leadership Skills - Provide planning and project leadership in marketing automation processes and campaign management including identifying project risks, presenting alternatives to alleviate or resolve issues, overseeing new data and data integrations in Marketing Cloud, investigating and resolve bugs/issues related to CRM initiatives, and managing, and managing Marketing Cloud releases.

Salary Range$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
