FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Marketing Executive Producer for FOX 13 Seattle, you’ll be responsible for overseeing, creating, and executing original multimedia promotions for news, sports and local programming, station image campaigns, network priorities and commercials for sales clients.

This position works closely with the Vice President of Marketing & Creative Services to manage and execute multi-platform campaigns, media buys, as well as on-air log coordination. Additionally, you will help mentor fellow Marketing Producers on their editing, writing, and production skills.

You will be a key driver of the FOX 13 brand, working across all departments to ensure consistency, develop brand experiences and find innovative ways to reach our consumers, helping to keep our station at the forefront of local news in the Pacific Northwest.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively listen to and facilitate employee ideas on key projects, fostering an environment of innovation while ensuring all team efforts remain aligned with the station's strategic goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high standard of day-to-day team management, balancing interpersonal support with the discipline required to hit rigorous daily production targets and performance goals.
  • Write, Shoot, Edit, and Execute large-scale promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Creative Services on advertising campaigns for news, sports and local programming, and all corresponding products.
  • Develop unique, branded content for our digital and social platforms.
  • Partner with News managers and EPs to capture the best moments of our news products that demonstrate our brand to Seattle viewers.
  • Serve as a liaison between News and Creative Services, and Creative Services and Sales.
  • Present fully realized campaigns during pitches and creative briefings.
  • Oversee on-location production shoots for promos and commercial projects.
  • Drive audience growth and engagement across all FOX 13 Seattle platforms.
  • Deliver exceptional video productions, including writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and motion graphics
  • Work with the marketing producers to create innovative marketing materials for linear, digital, streaming and social
  • Coordinate with remote designers at the FOX Graphics HUB to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Act as the lead producer for station image and special creative content.
  • Create and target integrated social campaigns to coincide with linear promotions.
  • Manage outside media buys and internal promotional avails on linear, digital, streaming and social, including out-of-home and paid social advertising, including Meta Ads Manager.
  • Track impressions and analytics to determine the success of marketing campaigns
  • Facilitate and manage FOX Prime, FOX Sports, and FOX O&O Group Initiatives, in addition to local station efforts.
  • Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment issued by FOX.
  • Comply with all FOX Corporate computer requirements.
  • Comply with all FOX Corporate and station policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional video productions, including writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and motion graphics
  • Work with the marketing producers to create innovative marketing materials for linear, digital, streaming and social
  • Cultivate a collaborative culture by actively soliciting and integrating employee input and creative ideas into projects, ensuring the team feels heard and valued.
  • Coordinate with remote designers at the FOX Graphics HUB to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Act as the lead producer for station image and special creative content.
  • Create and target integrated social campaigns to coincide with linear promotions.
  • Manage outside media buys and internal promotional avails on linear, digital, streaming and social, including out-of-home and paid social advertising, including Meta Ads Manager.
  • Track impressions and analytics to determine the success of marketing campaigns
  • Facilitate and manage FOX Prime, FOX Sports, and FOX O&O Group Initiatives, in addition to local station efforts.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under daily pressure and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may require nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays, and emergency scenarios.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs., frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and reach.
  • Ability to stand for long periods (1+ hour).
  • Ability to use tools, manipulate small parts, and make minute adjustments to controls requiring fine finger movements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative creative environment by actively listening to team members' ideas and incorporating diverse perspectives into high-level projects.
  • Strong "people manager" skillset with the ability to handle the nuances of daily interpersonal dynamics while maintaining the discipline and structure required to run a high-pressure production team.
  • Experience: 2–4 years producing & managing multi-platform creative marketing campaigns and commercial content with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior producer capacity.
  • Experience leading a team of marketing producers, with a focus on hearing out employee ideas and input to drive better creative outcomes, while maintaining the strong daily management necessary to run a high-volume department.
  • Technical Savvy: Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Advanced Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop skills required and expected).
  • Digital Expert: Strong understanding of current digital and social trends (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor staff and lead production shoots under daily deadline pressure.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Experience in multi-media production (local, cable, or network) is required.
  • Previous linear and digital Promotion/Marketing experience is highly desired.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $93,000.00-103,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
