This role may lead professionals in leveraging data to generate insights to aid in decision making and policy formulation for the business. This role will be responsible for helping maintain Lowe's best-in-class position in the Pricing space.
What You Will Do
- Support Lowe's enterprise pricing objectives and financial goals by assisting in the development and execution of pricing strategies.
- Distill insights from data, leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques to build pricing models and scenarios to inform business decisions and answer key questions.
- Execute data visualization and analytics projects, leveraging strong engagement, collaboration, and timely delivery of work product.
- Articulate analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner by using data visualization and creative data storytelling.
- May lead, develop, and engage a small team of pricing strategy, business intelligence, and analytics professionals, to support their professional growth and refine their analytical skills.
- May set performance goals and provide feedback, coaching, and development to team members in order to recognize achievements and address areas for improvement.
- Efficiently and effectively manage workflow to ensure that resources are adequately allocated, and projects are delivered on-time and in-full.
- Build positive working relationships with stakeholders, supporting pricing objectives, strategies, and outcomes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in pricing strategy to enhance pricing capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field. or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 7 years Experience in Pricing, Merchandising, Finance, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Revenue Management or related field.
- 3 years Experience working with common analytics and data science software such as SQL, Python, R as well as visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Superset.
Preferred Skills/Education
- Master's degree Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1 year Experience working closely with senior leadership (VP and above).
