Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Onboarding Marketing Specialist to join our Customer Marketing team! In this role, you’ll support the Onboarding Marketing Manager in delivering an engaging and seamless experience for new Trupanion members during their first 90 days. You’ll help execute campaigns and programs that welcome, educate, and retain members as they begin their journey with Trupanion. 

This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the execution of onboarding campaigns across email, direct mail, and web.  

  • Draft marketing copy and perform QA for emails, landing pages, and onboarding materials, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand voice.  

  • Maintain campaign calendars, timelines, and trackers.  

  • Assist in A/B test setup, ensuring test groups and creative variations are implemented correctly.  

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to gather assets, copy, and approvals.  

  • Research and suggest content ideas that address member needs and anticipate their questions during their onboarding journey.  

  • Provide general administrative and project support for large-scale direct mail and email programs to help keep campaigns on track and meet deadlines.   

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).  

  • 2-4 years of full-time marketing experience.  

Skills:  

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools or CRMs (experience with Marketo a plus). 

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 

  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, timelines, and project trackers. 

  • Strong organization and attention to detail. 

  • Aptitude for writing and editing content – producing polished, consumer-ready communications. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Effectiveness in collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

  • Demonstrated Initiative and openness to feedback and guidance. 

  • Passion to learn and grow in digital and customer marketing. 

  • Strength in balancing creativity with a data-driven mindset. 

Compensation: 

  • The pay for this position is $33.65 - $36.06 an hour on a full-time schedule. 

  • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses. 

  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
