The Role: Serve as FormAssembly's lead on public sector partnerships, leveraging our FedRAMP High authorization—a key differentiator held by very few competitors. Backed by our mature partnership organization, you will establish and expand strategic alliances with technology partners, systems integrators, and resellers targeting primarily federal agencies to accelerate revenue generation and partner-led pipeline growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and expand a book of government-focused partners, serving as the primary relationship owner for resellers, systems integrators, and technology partners that primarily sell into federal and, to a lesser extent, state and local agencies.
  • Formulate joint account strategies and go-to-market plans with each partner, establishing shared goals and defining collaborative approaches to capture public sector opportunities.
  • Successfully navigate public sector-specific procurement mechanisms, including state and local RFPs, cooperative purchasing agreements, and GSA schedules.
  • Serve as FormAssembly's ambassador at public sector industry events.
  • Oversee a healthy and active partner pipeline, monitoring deal progression from lead generation through conversion and communicating updates to sales and partnership leadership.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing partner, channel, or alliance relationships, with proven expertise in public sector sales across federal, state, or local agencies.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue goals driven by partners, combined with a strong grasp of government procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and drive successful negotiations.
  • A strong level of comfort operating effectively within highly regulated, compliance-focused environments.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
