  • Hold Exit Interviews with departing employees and analyze qualitative feedback on a regular basis.
  • Support a positive employee experience by executing key, cyclical programs in partnership with Principal People Business Partners and other cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate across the People and Places teams, across departments within Twitch and with our partners at Amazon.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (e.g., creating documents in Word/Google Docs, using basic spreadsheet functions in Excel/Google Sheets, managing calendars)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences (e.g., explaining processes, addressing concerns, providing technical guidance)
Bonus Points
  • Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
  • HRCI (PHR, SPHR) or SHRM certifications
  • Experience in customer service or people-facing roles, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., ability to use pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas)
  • Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and drive process improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Experience building partnerships and collaborating effectively across teams, demonstrating adaptability and autonomy
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
