  • Partner across acquisitions, engineering, finance, energy, networking, construction, and business operations teams to align infrastructure investments with customer demand, market dynamics, and Microsoft’s strategic priorities.

  • Drive strategic decision-making through market analysis, scenario planning, and portfolio insights, helping identify the highest-value opportunities across the cloud infrastructure portfolio.

  • Establish scalable governance, planning, and operating mechanisms that improve decision quality, execution rigor, and accountability across complex, cross-functional programs.

  • Manage interdependencies, risks, and competing priorities across multiple investment and acquisition workstreams to ensure successful delivery of critical business outcomes.

  • Lead organizational transformation and continuous improvement efforts, driving process maturity and operational excellence across portfolio planning and acquisition functions.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
