Job Overview
The Principal Architect will be a key leader within the Digital Services Group (DSG), supporting the Pricing & Promotions Team. This group plays a strategic role in enabling T-Mobile’s Product Catalog evolution and accelerating go-to-market delivery capabilities digitally. The team operates at the intersection of business agility and technical execution - focusing on delivering seamless, customer-first experiences, supporting Digital One initiative, and enabling resilient, scalable APIs that underpin product offerings. The role collaborates across engineering, product, and architecture functions to ensure digital enablement and catalog integrity are aligned with enterprise strategy.

*** This position will sit in Bellevue, WA, OR Bothell, WA. This is not a remote role - this is a hybrid environment requiring 3 days a week in office.Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years Experience in Cloud Computing, AWS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
  • 7-10 years in designing scalable, resilient APIs using Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes
  • 7-10 years in defining cross-domain integration patterns for Enterprise product catalog with new consumers and billing systems
  • Lead architecture for digital catalog and API platforms aligned with DSG transformation goals
  • Influence product, engineering, and business through strategic architecture leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Architect composable, API-first platforms supporting omnichannel and headless experiences
  • Embed telemetry and ML-readiness into commerce catalog. 
  • Scale DevSecOps and CI/CD across hybrid cloud with security and compliance governance
  • Mentor architecture guilds and drive innovation across digital platform engineering

    Base Pay Range: $126,700 - $228,500

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
