SUMMARY OF THE OPPORTUNITY
- Client Overview: Our client is a leading technology company in the gaming industry, specializing in Xbox experiences.
- Role Summary: As a Marketing Program Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with product management and design teams to develop and execute marketing strategies around new Xbox experiences. You will play a crucial role in driving successful go-to-market motions, managing monthly updates, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Assist in creating and implementing inbound marketing campaigns, collaborating with social, PR, product management, design, and Insiders.
- Manage monthly ecosystem updates and ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
- Help plan go-to-market motions for experiences, coordinating marketing execution across channels.
- Report issues, errors, and blockers, escalating through the appropriate channels.
- Document user journeys to prioritize critical experiences for the gaming audience.
- Maintain necessary marketing tools, from campaign management tools to team SharePoint.
- Drive experiments to test efficacy and impact of new experiences, collaborating with User Research to gather required insights.
- Draft communications, newsletters, and monthly marketing reports to share project status with partner teams and leadership.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience working with Engineers or PM's to understand technical lingo and translate it into business insights.
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues.
- 2-5 years of experience driving programs, capturing requirements, and owning projects and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft communications and value propositions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on user experiences and understanding their needs.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in content management, program management, experimentation, and marketing go-to-market execution.
- Previous experience collaborating with subscription marketing operations (if at Xbox = big plus).
