Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join the Environment Health and Safety Team in Everett, Washington.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to running the business and executing the strategic portfolio for the Everett EHS organization.
As a Project Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in portfolio and project management, creating and developing working-together relationships and the development of executive level presentations to communication performance to plan. Position Responsibilities:
- Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives and deploy impact analyses
- Coordinates and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case
- Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership
- Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
- Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval
- Provides implementation direction for work authorization
- Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices
- Develops and maintains visibility system in support of the architecture
- Utilizes the management systems and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plan
- Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
- Represents executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction
- Assists in task management and provides expert business advice to enable a more efficient use of executive resources
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 5+ years of experience with developing integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools, specifically PowerPoint and Excel for data presentations and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Proven experience working with and collaborating with executive leadership
- Exhibit strength in business acumen, critical thinking, building positive relationships, problem solving, and adaptability
