About the Role

Tidal is seeking a Recruiting Analyst to join our Human Resources team and support recruiting and broader HR execution across the organization. This role will help keep the hiring process moving efficiently—from engaging candidates and coordinating interviews through offers and onboarding—while creating a thoughtful and consistent experience for candidates and hiring teams.

We’re looking for someone early in their career who is organized, responsive, and enjoys working with people and managing multiple priorities. You’ll take ownership of meaningful parts of the recruiting process while learning from and partnering closely with the broader HR team, with opportunities to gain exposure to onboarding, HR programs, reporting, and other areas of the employee lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Support the Recruiting Process

  • Coordinate recruiting activity from requisition through hire, including job postings, application review, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and preboarding.
  • Support candidate sourcing, outreach, and initial qualification screens for junior and repeatable roles.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruiting activity in Rippling, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Partner with the HR team and hiring managers to coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and keep candidates moving through the process.
  • Support offer preparation, background checks, and other pre-hire activities.

Support Recruiting Operations

  • Help administer headcount, recruiting, interview, and approval workflows in Rippling.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and support reporting on pipeline activity, hiring progress, and other key metrics.
  • Help improve recruiting processes, documentation, and workflows to create a consistent and efficient experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Support Onboarding and HR Programs

  • Coordinate key onboarding activities and help ensure new hires and managers have the information and resources they need.
  • Support new-hire orientation, onboarding follow-up, employee communications, training, and other HR program logistics.
  • Maintain accurate employee information and assist with routine HR reporting, documentation, and audits.
  • Provide coordination and execution support across HR initiatives, gaining exposure to broader areas of Human Resources over time.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, talent acquisition, or related HR experience.
  • Experience working within an applicant tracking system (ATS); experience with Rippling is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication across multiple active requisitions.
  • Exposure to candidate sourcing, outreach, and/or initial qualification screening.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a thoughtful, professional approach to candidate and employee interactions.
  • Comfort working with data, reports, trackers, and systems while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
  • A proactive and accountable approach to work, with the ability to follow through and keep processes moving.
  • Collaborative mindset and interest in learning and growing across recruiting and broader Human Resources responsibilities.
  • Regular use of AI tools, such as ChatGPT or Claude, is required as part of day-to-day recruiting workflows, communications, research, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting recruiting in a high-growth or high-volume environment.
  • Experience with Rippling Recruiting or similar recruiting and HR systems.
  • Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
  • Exposure to offer administration, background checks, preboarding, or new-hire onboarding.

But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
