LastPass is looking for a Renewals Representative:

In this role, you will protect and grow recurring revenue. You will own the full renewal cycle — from proactive outreach and forecasting through negotiation and close — helping LastPass deliver on its mission to give everyone seamless access to everything they need to work, move fast, and stay protected.

About the team:

The Global Renewals team operates at the intersection of customer success and revenue operations, with direct impact on the health of the business. Spanning North America, APAC, and EMEA, we protect and grow LastPass's recurring revenue across a large and diverse customer base — bringing ownership, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to the customers we serve.

If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you!

While this role is open to candidates across the US, we have a preference for candidates based on the East Coast to support collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.

Who will you work with?

You will work closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Revenue Operations, Customer Support, and Legal to navigate complex renewal cycles and align on contract strategy. You will also engage directly with customer stakeholders — including procurement leads, IT decision-makers, and economic buyers — to drive timely, value-aligned renewal outcomes across your assigned territory.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Renewal Strategy – Own, drive, and lead the end-to-end renewals process in partnership with the Customer Success team to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships
  • Renewal Execution – Actively engage with key customer decision-makers to identify requirements, uncover roadblocks, and ensure on-time renewal commitments; negotiate and execute renewal contracts (in partnership with Legal) that align with customer goals
  • Renewal Forecasting – Maintain and report an accurate rolling 90-day forecast of renewals within your assigned territory, with a high degree of accuracy and pipeline hygiene
  • Account Growth – Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal to maximize customer contract value and drive business growth
  • Revenue Retention – Execute and contribute to renewal engagement playbooks aimed at maximizing revenue retention and proactively managing churn risk across your book of business
  • Customer Health Management – Partner with Customer Success and Support to monitor account health signals and build proactive strategies for at-risk accounts ahead of renewal
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with Sales, Legal, and Leadership to align on renewal strategy, escalations, and complex deal navigation

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently owning, driving, and closing a renewals or account management process from start to finish.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder, complex renewal conversations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and internal partners.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume book of business while maintaining forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, a strong desire to exceed quota, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Ability to identify expansion opportunities including upsell, cross-sell, and multi-year agreements within the renewal cycle.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine commitment to customer success and long-term retention.

It's great, but not required:

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for pipeline management and reporting
  • Familiarity with SaaS subscription models and recurring revenue metrics such as GRR, NRR, and churn
  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience within a sales or renewals organisation.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
