Senior Account Executive – K-12 (Texas)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing K-12 sales team, covering Texas. The ideal candidate will reside within the state and play a key role in driving new business and expanding relationships within K-12 school districts.

 

What You Will Do

 
  • Sell Instructure solutions—including Canvas, MasteryConnect, LearnPlatform, and related services—in your assigned Texas territory

  • Hunt for new business opportunities while upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts

  • Share compelling insights that help prospects evaluate solutions effectively

  • Prepare and tailor messaging for prospective clients

  • Guide prospective clients through the purchasing process to meet agreed-upon timelines

  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales performance

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand your client pipeline

  • Build and maintain relationships with key buyers and stakeholders within school districts

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas within designated timeframes

  • Partner with Regional Directors and clients in the field to generate referrals and grow market share

  • Log accurate account information into Salesforce CRM in a timely manner

 

What We’re Looking For

 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Education, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience or relevant EdTech experience

  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and familiarity with the LMS sales process is a plus

  • Experience selling enterprise-level software, SaaS solutions, and related services

  • Ability to sell at all organizational levels, including C-level and above

  • Excellent strategic and consultative sales skills

  • Strong ability to conduct detailed needs analysis and develop proposals

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
