Job Summary

The Account Supervisor I develops, maintains, and assesses client accounts, building and nurturing favorable long-term relationships. As a primary point of contact, this role guides team members to deliver strategies and solutions that align with client objectives and company goals while ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction.?

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with new and existing clients for continued business growth.?
  • Gather information from clients and partners to inform strategic decision-making and targeted recommendations.?
  • Craft, execute, and monitor action plans to meet specified client needs and objectives.?
  • Provide recommendations using both internal analysis and external market trends.?
  • Proactively communicate with the client at all stages, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.?
  • Supervise account teams, allocating responsibilities, monitoring team performance, and providing coaching or mentoring as needed.?
  • Manage the execution of client campaigns and marketing plans, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.?
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and financial reports for assigned accounts, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.?
  • Resolve complex account issues; escalate only the most critical matters to upper management.?
  • Support new business development and participate in pitches for new clients.?
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to grow assigned accounts.?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field required.?
  • Typically requires 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in account management, sales, marketing, or client services.?
  • Proven leadership, team supervision, and project management experience in a client-facing role.?
  • Strong customer/client orientation and relationship-building skills.?
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring ability.?
  • Strategic thinking and originality in crafting client solutions.?
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.?
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to manage competing priorities.?
  • Proficiency with account management software, project management tools, and financial tracking systems.
