Oversee end-to-end intercompany accounting across global entities, perform reconciliations, ensure eliminations and compliance with US GAAP, support consolidations and audits, resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and provide training and documentation.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant - Intercompany is responsible for overseeing and reconciling all intercompany accounting activities across local and global entities within the organization. This role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, elimination, and reporting of intercompany transactions in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- Own end-to-end intercompany accounting processes, including ensuring billing, settlements, and eliminations are accounted for.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end intercompany reconciliations, ensuring all balances are accurate and fully supported and align with intercompany agreements.
- Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
- Ensure intercompany and related party transactions are identified, properly recorded and eliminated.
- Support consolidation processes and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
- Assist with audit requests related to intercompany balances and transactions.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to streamline and automate intercompany processes and reconciliations.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Analyze complex financial reports and records.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting
- Four to six years of experience in accounting, including intercompany accounting.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with complex consolidations
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, as well as Blackline and Hyperion systems.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
- The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product.

Pay Range: $100,000 - 115,000 per year
