In This Role

You will support business operations and strategic planning across a technology-focused organization, with responsibility for budget management, forecasting, executive communications, Rhythm of Business activities, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. You will help maintain operational visibility through reporting, budget variance tracking, planning, and business metrics while partnering with senior leaders and teams across multiple technology and corporate functions. The role also includes preparing executive and internal communications, supporting town halls and organizational communications, and helping ensure business priorities, processes, and deliverables stay aligned.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate budgets, forecasting, expenditures, and budget variance reporting across multiple business areas.
  • Support the organization's Rhythm of Business (ROB), including planning, reporting, recurring business reviews, and operational tracking.
  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to coordinate priorities, deliverables, timelines, and business activities.
  • Prepare executive communications, internal communications, presentations, reports, and business updates.
  • Support preparation and coordination of town halls and organizational events.
  • Develop and maintain business processes, project structures, documentation, and operational workflows.
  • Track project and organizational budgets, expenditures, transaction controls, and costs against approved budgets.
  • Identify potential budget overruns or financial risks and communicate potential solutions.
  • Maintain business metrics, project communications, and supporting documentation.
  • Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract-related materials as needed.
  • Establish and maintain communication processes across business units and project teams.
  • Analyze business trends and financial information to support planning and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support broader business-management and program-management activities above an administrative level.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years managing budgets of multiple millions of dollars.
  • 5+ years of executive or corporate communications experience, including the ability to develop clear business storytelling and communications.
  • 5+ years of stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong experience with business management, operations, project management, financial planning, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with business applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel; enterprise application experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a large technology organization in a comparable business management or operations role.
  • Experience in a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, or similar strategic operations role.
  • Experience managing Rhythm of Business (ROB) activities at the VP or executive level.
  • Direct experience supporting a senior executive or corporate vice president-level leader.
  • Strong experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Experience creating executive-level storytelling, communications, presentations, and business updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Experience working at the intersection of technology and AI, particularly in areas such as privacy, accessibility, digital safety, human rights, or related responsible-technology domains.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the client's organization is strongly preferred.

Salary Range 

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $115,000– $120,000 per annum.  Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
