You will lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project organisation comprising Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, EHS, Quality, Construction and Contract Management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, to contractual requirements and to customer expectations.

----------------------------------------------------------

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Take overall accountability for project delivery, ensuring contractual, technical, financial, schedule, quality and customer requirements are achieved.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project priorities, interfaces and contractual obligations are clearly understood and effectively managed.

  • Monitor, optimise and report key project operational and financial indicators in line with applicable governance and business review cycles.

  • Lead project risk and opportunity management, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, mitigated, tracked and communicated throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain strong oversight of project financial performance, including cost, forecasting, cash, resource utilisation and overall project financial status.

  • Manage the overall project scope and ensure interfaces between participating functions, suppliers, contractors and other delivery partners are clearly defined and controlled.

  • Drive schedule performance and ensure project activities and deliverables are effectively planned, monitored and executed.

  • Identify schedule, cost and delivery deviations and lead appropriate recovery and mitigation actions.

  • Support contractual change management, claims, settlements and resolution of commercial issues, working closely with Contract Management and other relevant functions.

  • Ensure proactive management of contractual obligations and support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement where project deviations occur.

  • Promote and reinforce a strong EHS culture across all project activities, ensuring EHS considerations are fully integrated into project strategy and decision-making.

  • Represent GE Vernova, where required, on project-related EHS, contractual, customer or other relevant matters.

  • Support tender validation activities by reviewing proposed delivery models, project commitments, execution assumptions, risks and opportunities prior to contract award.

  • Provide leadership across large and complex project organisations, influencing stakeholders and driving accountability even where teams do not report directly into the role.

----------------------------------------------------------Qualifications / Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent relevant technical qualification or experience.

  • Significant experience leading large and complex EPC, turnkey or infrastructure projects within the energy, power transmission or a comparable engineering environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across multiple phases of the EPC lifecycle, including engineering, procurement/supply, construction, installation and commissioning.

  • Proven ability to lead high-value projects with significant technical, commercial, contractual and organisational complexity.

  • Strong understanding of project financial management, including cost control, forecasting, risk and opportunity management and overall financial performance.

  • Experience managing contractual interfaces, project changes, claims and commercial risks.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence large multidisciplinary and cross-functional project teams.

  • Experience working in international and/or multi-stakeholder project environments.

  • Strong customer and stakeholder management capability.

  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
