Overview

Azure Logic Apps as a part of CoreAI is Microsoft's enterprise integration platform, powering mission-critical workflows for thousands of organizations connecting SaaS, on-premises systems, APIs, and AI services. As a Senior Product Manager - CoreAI, you'll own a strategic area of the product and shape how enterprises modernize integration in the era of AI agents and event-driven architectures.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who is interested in integration space. You've lived through the on prem-to-cloud transition, you understand why idempotency, correlation, and dead-letter handling matter, and you can hold your own in a deep architecture conversation with a Fortune 500 enterprise architect.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day, we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy for a major area of Logic Apps (e.g., runtime, connectors, B2B/EDI, hybrid, or AI-powered integration).
  • Define roadmaps, make build/buy/partner calls, and align engineering, design, and GTM (Go To Market).
  • Drive customer outcomes by spending real time with enterprise customers, ISVs, and SIs, turning their integration pain into shipped product.
  • Set the technical bar. Write specs that engineers respect. Make crisp tradeoffs on latency, throughput, durability, security, and cost.
  • Shape the integration category. Represent Microsoft externally — keynotes, analyst briefings (Gartner iPaaS MQ, Forrester Wave), customer advisory boards, and the integration community.
  • Partner across Microsoft  Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Fabric, and Microsoft Foundry teams to deliver integrated experiences customers actually need.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years shipping integration, iPaaS, ESB, API, or workflow products at scale.
  • Hands-on understanding of enterprise integration patterns including messaging, orchestration, choreography, compensation, idempotency, exactly-once semantics, schema evolution, B2B protocols (EDI, AS2, X12, EDIFACT).
  • Demonstrated ability to ship complex distributed systems products to enterprise customers and drive adoption.
  • Technical fluency: you can read code, debug a workflow run, reason about a Kusto query, and design an API without an engineer in the room.
  • Excellent written communication including specs, customer narratives, and strategy docs are the kind people forward.
  • Experience with Azure or a major cloud's integration stack (Logic Apps, N8N, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
  • Background working with regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector) where integration is mission-critical.
  • Experience launching AI-powered or agent-based product capabilities.
  • Public presence in the integration community — talks, blogs, OSS contributions, MVP relationships.

Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
