What you’ll doResponsibilities
  • Design and build internal products used daily by engineering, product, and cross-functional teams across Stripe. 
  • Own end-to-end systems—spanning frontend, backend, data, and integrations—that remove bottlenecks and meaningfully increase product development velocity. 
  • Collaborate with partner teams to understand workflows, define requirements, and build tools that improve iteration speed, quality, and clarity in the product lifecycle.
Who you areMinimum requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, plus five (5) years of post-bachelors progressive work experience in software development, or a related occupation.

Must also have five (5) years of experience with/in each of the following:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack or backend web applications;
  • Programming language including Java, Go, Python, Ruby, TypeScript, or JavaScript;
  • Building and consuming REST or gRPC APIs;
  • Working with databases including PostgreSQL, mySQL, or NoSQL systems;
  • Cloud environments including AWS, or GCP;
  • Frontend frameworks including React, Vue or building product UIs;
  • Owning large components or projects and driving alignment with cross-functional partners; and
  • Debugging.

Salary: $206,086 - $285,600/yr

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

50% Telecommuting Permitted.

Multiple Positions Available.
