Salary Range:$125,000 USD - $145,000 USD

Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. At Russell Investments, salary is just one part of our compensation package. Our total rewards approach includes an annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility criteria) in addition to participation in our competitive benefits programs including healthcare, retirement, vacation, and wellbeing programs.


Job Description:

Joining our Global Talent Acquisition team means you will be a part of a passionate and supportive team that believes what we do matters to our clients and investors.  As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent that enables our business to deliver strong outcomes for clients and stakeholders. In this role, you will serve as strategic recruiting partner to business leaders and hiring managers across North America. You will lead full lifecycle recruitment for a range of professional and leadership roles, providing consultative guidance on hiring strategy, talent market insights, and candidate engagement. You will also partner closely with HR colleagues and leadership to ensure our hiring practices align with business priorities and our commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting searches across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to align on role scope, candidate profile, and recruiting strategy.
  • Proactively identify and attract diverse talent through sourcing strategies and tools including LinkedIn and other professional networks.
  • Source and engage passive candidates while building strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates for both qualifications and organizational fit.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and concise evaluation notes.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources colleagues including HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Compensation throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Lead offer discussions and negotiations in alignment with compensation and HR policies.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of recruitment activity within the Workday Recruiting system.
  • Develop and maintain professional networks with recruiting organizations and industry peers.
  • Explore and implement strategies to expand access to diverse talent pools and strengthen inclusive hiring practices.
  • Support broader recruiting team needs including gap coverage for interview scheduling or onsite coordination when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and contribute ideas to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function.

Your Expertise:

  • 5-6 years’ experience as a full cycle recruiter, preferably supporting professional or corporate functions within financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable success sourcing candidates and attracting top talent through creative and proactive recruiting strategies.
  • Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications quickly and effectively when reviewing direct applicants.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, senior stakeholders, and HR Business Partners.
  • Strong candidate engagement and “sales” skills to attract high-quality talent to Russell Investments.
  • Strong interviewing capabilities using thoughtful and probing questions to assess experience, competencies, and potential culture add.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively by phone, in person, and in writing, along with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement recruiting process improvements.
  • Experience with recruiting systems and software; experience with Workday Recruiting is a plus.
