We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Audience Targeting to join the Technical Program Management team. The TPM is responsible for driving the strategy, evolution, and performance of audience targeting capabilities that improve campaign effectiveness and customer outcomes.
This role operates at the intersection of engineering, data science, product, and marketing stakeholders. The TPM defines direction, aligns teams, and ensures targeting systems and capabilities deliver measurable business impact at scale.
What you'll do- Own the roadmap and strategy for audience targeting capabilities, including segmentation, targeting logic, and supporting infrastructure
- Define clear problem statements, success metrics, and performance KPIs tied to customer and business outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve targeting precision, audience scale, match rates, and campaign performance
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to design scalable targeting systems that balance accuracy, latency, flexibility, and operational complexity
- Translate technical constraints, data dependencies, and signal quality considerations into product decisions and roadmap sequencing
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Marketing teams around targeting priorities and tradeoffs
- Use experimentation, analytics, and performance data to evaluate impact and continuously improve targeting capabilities
- Communicate targeting strategy, performance, risks, and opportunities clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure targeting systems consistently support acquisition of high-value audiences and measurable campaign improvements
- Targeting capabilities enable measurable improvements in campaign performance
- Increased audience scale & match rates, and effective use of available signals
- Targeting systems that balance scale, precision, and performance
- Clear, shared understanding of targeting metrics across teams
- Strong alignment between Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing on targeting strategy
- Continuous iteration and improvement driven by data and experimentation
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Product Management within AdTech, MarTech, or data-driven platforms
- Direct experience owning or contributing to audience targeting, segmentation, identity resolution, or optimization systems
- Proven track record of improving campaign performance through targeting strategies and data-driven optimization
- Strong technical fluency, including familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, audience ingestion flows, and targeting infrastructure
- Deep understanding of tradeoffs between scale, accuracy, latency, and system complexity in targeting systems
- Experience partnering closely with Data Science or ML teams on model-driven targeting capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define success metrics, interpret performance data, and drive iteration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
- Experience operating cross-functionally in complex organizational environments
