Software Engineer II

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a deep engineering foundation, a high degree of ownership, and a passion for solving complex distributed systems and cloud infrastructure problems. In this role, you will work across the software stack, collaborate with engineers and partner teams, and drive technical solutions from design through implementation, deployment, and operation. You will have opportunities to solve ambiguous engineering problems, influence technical direction, improve engineering systems and processes, and mentor other engineers while building deep expertise in Azure and sovereign cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and delivering production services.
• Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience driving complex or ambiguous engineering projects from design through delivery.
• Deep experience with software design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
• Demonstrated ability to build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software.
• Advanced collaboration and communication skills across engineering teams and disciplines.
• Passion for delivering high-quality solutions that create customer value.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
