What you’ll doResponsibilities
  • Build, develop, test, and deploy software infrastructure; 
  • Modify existing software to correct errors or to improve its performance; 
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; 
  • Build, test, and maintain software development for the company’s various codebases to integrate with external financial partners;
  • Consult and advise other peers on build system choices; 
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
  • Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale;
  • Implement unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs and regressions; 
  • Set the mission and perform short and medium term planning and prioritization for an engineering team;
  • Build, test, and maintain software for card payments integrations across the company’s codebases to communicate with external card networks and payment processors using industry-standard protocols; 
  • Consult with and advise peers on integration architecture and payment processing implementation choices; and
  • Analyze user needs and payment processing requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints for card network integrations
Who you areMinimum requirements

Must have a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in Software Development.

Must also have two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

  • Writing and debugging computer code;
  • Writing software to issue and serve HTTP requests;
  • Java, Ruby, Scala, or Python; and
  • API, REST, Soap, Agile, Jira, GIT, AngularJS, or NodeJS.

Must also have one (1) year of experience in each of the following:

  • Payment processing in payins acquiring financial systems related to authorization and clearing flows with major global card networks including Visa and Mastercard;
  • Data modeling of card features in acquiring payments for financial processing systems;
  • Working with ISO 8583 messages, and data warehouse queries; and
  • Cloud.

Salary: $156,800 - $235,200/yr.

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

50% Telecommuting permitted.

Multiple Positions Available.
