Job Description:

Job Summary 

This position may be filled at different levels, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. Responsibilities include designing high density 800V Isolated DCDC, 48V Intermediate bus, and 12V Multiphase Buck converters. The role also requires IC & system level circuit debugging, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.

Essential Functions

  • Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and design power modules/ICs for AI, data center applications. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process and ensure successful product delivery.

  • Provide application technical support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers. 

  • Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for high performance computing, networking, server and cloud markets. 

Qualifications

  • MSEE or higher required.

  • Hands-on experience with switch-mode power conversion, including DC-DC, AC-DC, inverters, or power-management IC applications.

  • Demonstrated design, validation, debug, or optimization experience in one or more of: high-density DC-DC converters, 800V isolated DC-DC, 48V intermediate-bus architectures, or multiphase buck converters for CPU/GPU power delivery.

  • Experience with PMICs, power modules, power supplies, or semiconductor applications is strongly preferred.

  • Experience at a power-supply manufacturer, power-semiconductor, power-management IC company, or system-power architect company is a plus.

  • Ability to develop and communicate reference designs, test results, application guidance, and technical documentation.

  • Strong written, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills in English.

  • Comfortable collaborating with customers and internal engineering, product, and field teams.

  • Self-motivated, hands-on problem solver.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The target hiring range for this position is $140,000 $200,000 annually.
