Position Summary

The Sr. HRIS & UKG Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, governance, and optimization of the UKG HCM platform, supporting modules including Core HCM, Timekeeping, Recruiting, Benefits, and Learning & Development. This role combines technical system administration with data analytics and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Governance

  • Own UKG HCM governance, including configuration standards, security protocols, and workflow integrity.
  • Manage system updates, patches, and release testing to ensure compliance and minimize disruption.
  • Maintain integration integrity with ATS, benefits carriers, payroll, and learning systems.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure accuracy and compliance across all HR modules.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver standard and ad hoc reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.
  • Support compliance reporting (EEO, ACA, etc.) and audit requests.
  • Create dashboards and analytics to support workforce planning and decision-making.

Process Optimization & Support

  • Partner with HR Operations and Payroll Manager to streamline processes and improve system utilization.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for HR Ops and escalate technical issues as needed.
  • Train HR team members on UKG functionality and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5+ years of experience with UKG HCM or similar HRIS platforms.
    • Hands-on experience with multiple UKG modules (Core, Timekeeping, Recruiting, Benefits, L&D).
    • Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and data governance.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in UKG configuration and reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and SSO preferred.
    • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications

  • UKG Pro Certified Professional (or equivalent).
  • HRIP or similar HR technology certification.
