Your role at DynatraceYou'll join the Dashboards and Notebooks team, designing the core experiences that transform complex observability data into clear, actionable insights for hundreds of thousands of users. From SREs investigating incidents to executives monitoring business metrics, you'll shape how they query, visualize, and act on data. In this role, you will:
  • Dive deep into complex data visualization challenges, collaborating closely with product managers, design peers, and engineers to shape the future of how users interact with observability data.

  • Explore and design AI-assisted features that help users discover insights more quickly.
  • Own and design scalable, elegant end-to-end experiences for dashboard creation, customization, and sharing, as well as notebook-based exploration that blends queries, visualizations, and documentation.
  • Contribute to the Strato Design System.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions, while regularly using Dashboards and Notebooks firsthand to experience the product from a user's perspective and gather real data that drives informed design choices.
What will help you succeed
  • 6+ years designing and shipping digital software products. Experience with enterprise software or an engineering background preferred.

  • Strong foundation in UX and visual design, with the ability to move fluidly between low and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Miro, and AI-assisted design tools. Comfort with vibe coding for rapid prototyping is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A collaborative mindset that embraces user and stakeholder feedback to build better products.

  • Commitment to accessibility.

Portfolio tips: Focus on quality over quantity. Share 1-2 complex projects that best demonstrate your work with enterprise software such as B2B, SaaS, or desktop products similar to Dynatrace. Highlight the challenge or business need, your role and contributions, your design process, and the outcomes achieved. Emphasize how you navigated complexity and the strategies behind your solutions.

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to this position, which is EUR 60,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
