The DIRECTV Digital Acquisition Team is looking for a customer-first, innovative, and results driven individual to join us in transforming the way we acquire new customers to engage with using our products. The Senior Product Manager will focus on driving simple experiences across the DIRECTV digital landscape allowing customers to focus on enjoying the entertainment they love. The Senior Product Manager will ideate and deliver digital first experiences that seamlessly integrate into an omni-channel ecosystem. This individual will collaborate with other product managers, IT, UX/CX, and marketing to translate the customer need into initiatives that drive digital acquisition sales.   

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Define the opportunity and measures of success for concepts you identify, and partner with the appropriate teams to bring to life on the website.
  • Manage product roadmaps by optimizing customer and business value.
  • Partner with CX, UX, IT, and digital servicing teams to deliver simple and delightful customer experiences that focus on a seamless experience from purchase to watching.
  • Define solutions and features via Epic and Capability level user stories to clearly articulate expectations to delivery teams.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 3 – 5 years required, 5+ years of experience preferred in digital product management.
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and persuade others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Track record of being able to work cross-functionally to deliver large scale initiatives.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once, driving strategy and capabilities while handing off to partner teams for detail definition when applicable.
  • Success will be measured through the individual’s ability to partner and deliver the highest value capabilities that provide and/or enhance the digital experience to delight customers and achieve business results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, process-light environment with continuous focus on the customer experience and delivering business results.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with full product life cycle management.
  • Working knowledge of customer journey mapping techniques.
  • Working knowledge of voice of the customer (VoC) survey applications (Qualtrics, Medallia, etc.).
  • Proficient in building executive level presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, preferred.

May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This role requires, but is not limited to, 5% travel.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $96,140 - $174,570

Low (N1): $96,140 - $144,210

Mid (N2): $101,200 - $151,800

High (N3): $111,320 - $166,980

Top (N4): $116,380 - $174,570

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
