Position Overview:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and building consumer facing web-based products and improving and maintaining internally used web-applications. The consumer experiences built serves to improve the home buying experience, and the internal web applications built assists teams to become more efficient in the closing of loans as well as improving the post-loan experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead product feature development using the Agile process by working closely with the engineering and business operations teams.
Develop wireframes to define user experiences and collaborate with the creative team to develop high-quality user interfaces.
Create product feature requirements and collaborate with the engineers to develop these features.
Conceptualize on new tests and experiences and investigate processes to build efficient internal tools; iterate continuously with clear metrics.
Optimize customer experience, define tests, and lead the full execution of the tests.
Coordinate meetings and maintain the backlog with input from internal stakeholders, partners, and engineers.
Lead backlog meetings with development teams and regularly update partners.
Lead product roadmaps and drive roadmap items to completion.
Lead teams and cross functional groups to pitch ideas, collaborating with the team to implement.
Conduct user and competition research to create product improvement ideas.
Participate in team retrospectives to support high-performance teams.
Maintain a working knowledge of consumer journey mapping.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in an equivalent field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) and/or equivalent combination of education/experience; MBA, preferred.
4 to 5 years’ product management or product development experience.
Experience writing and debugging SQL queries; Tableau, Power BI experience, preferred.
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria as a product owner in an Agile/SCRUM software development environment.
Proficiency with HTML, SQL, CSS.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
