The Supply Chain Savings Analyst will play a key role in initiating, implementing, and tracking cost savings across the medical supply and office supply spend categories with a primary focus on ensuring that spend per surgery does not exceed the budget. In this role the analyst will spend 50% of the time analyzing spend and contracts, identifying cost savings opportunities, and tracking metrics. The other 50% of the time will be spent actively driving cost savings projects and building tools to improve management of spend per surgery.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a bias toward action. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyzes data from various sources including purchasing, financial, and patient appointment systems to identify potential savings opportunities
  • Develops and tracks metrics including savings, spend per surgery, and spend per line of business
  • Builds tools to control spend throughout the organization, highlight problem areas, and illustrate savings delivered
  • Works with Supply Chain Managers to conduct strategic sourcing events to drive cost optimization and business process improvement
  • Analyzes and evaluates supplier proposals, should-cost models, total cost of ownership, and total cost of change
  • Evaluates supplier proposals, should-cost models, total cost of ownership, and total cost of change
  • Reviews invoices to ensure pricing is accurate and works to resolve price discrepancies
  • Updates purchasing system data with price changes
  • Works collaboratively with AP for invoice payment issues
  • Manages supplier contracts and ensures pricing is reflected accurately in the purchasing system (Envi) and ensures no lapse in coverage due to expiration dates.
  • Evaluates internal and external benchmarking data to identify value beyond acquisition costs addressing all components of the Total Cost of Ownership
  • Monitors market factors and potential impact on pricing and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Tracks and reports actual cost savings delivered on a monthly basis for the prior month and estimated for a full twelve-month period.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or a related field
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Office suite
  • 5-10 years of experience procurement/purchasing or financial analysis experience in medical (preferred), retail, grocery, restaurant, or similar
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems highly preferred
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial, proactive, and innovative mindset
  • Ability to maintain ethical and professional relations with suppliers
  • Excellent time management, communication, and decision-making skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
Work onsite at the Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA for a minimum of 3 days a week. May work in remote office locations on Wednesdays and Fridays.

COMPENSATION:

At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.

Compensation Range
$80,000$90,000 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
