Why We Are Hiring
Cyware is hiring a customer-facing Technical Account Program Manager (TAM) to own the post-sale success of our federal, state, and local government customers. This role blends technical account management with structured program delivery ensuring public sector agencies successfully deploy, adopt, and expand their use of Cyware's platform . The ideal candidate is a recognized operator in the public sector cybersecurity ecosystem,  someone who already speaks the language of agency missions, understands how work actually gets delivered through systems integrators, and can lead confidently across both customer and partner tables.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of public sector customers, from customer onboarding through renewal and full lifecycle management
  • Own program-level delivery: implementation timelines, milestones, risk tracking, compliance, and stakeholder reporting across multi-phase government deployments
  • Act as the connective tissue between Cyware, the customer agency, and the delivering SI/reseller, ensuring all three are aligned on scope, schedule, and success criteria
  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with major public sector SIs and primes and their delivery teams, functioning as Cyware's technical anchor on joint engagements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Solution Architecture, Product, and Support to resolve technical issues and drive feature adoption
  • Manage relationships with agency technical leads, contracting officers, COTRs/CORs, and program managers
  • Track and report on platform health, usage, and mission outcomes; proactively identify risk to renewal or expansion
  • Translate agency mission needs into internal product feedback and prioritized enhancement requests
  • Run structured cadences (QBRs, status reviews, executive briefings) tailored to government reporting expectations and IDIQ/task-order structures
  • Lead by influence across customer, partner, and internal stakeholders.Able to run the room in a room full of government PMs, SI delivery leads, and agency technical staff

Who You Are

  • 10+ years in Pub technical account management, customer success, or program/project management, with 5+ years dedicated to federal or public sector customers
  • Demonstrated, active relationships with systems integrators and primes delivering into government (not just familiarity — real working relationships with named SI delivery and capture teams)
  • Deep, current knowledge of how public sector work gets contracted and delivered: IDIQs, task orders, prime/sub structures, OTAs, GWACs (e.g., SEWP, Alliant, CIO-SP3), and how that shapes program execution
  • Working knowledge of SOC/security operations tooling
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder programs against contractual deliverables and timelines (SOWs, ATOs, milestone-based delivery)
  • Fluency in government compliance and authorization frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF/ATO lifecycle, continuous monitoring)
  • Proven ability to lead  not just coordinate  mixed rooms of agency, SI, and internal stakeholders toward a shared outcome
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills calibrated to both technical staff and government executives
  • Active or eligible for a federal security clearance (or ability to obtain one)

Preferred

  • PMP or equivalent program management certification
  • Prior experience at a federal systems integrator, in a role bridging customer delivery and partner management
  • Existing personal network within DoD, civilian agencies, or SLTT security programs
  • Track record of growing an account's footprint by pulling an SI partner deeper into the account, not just co-existing with one

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
