Key Responsibilities:
- Program Launch Readiness : Establish and lead an ongoing launch readiness program that systematically drives progress and ensures the successful completion of critical program milestones
- Performance Metrics : Identify and operationalize metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) necessary to track progress at a granular level; drive issue resolution and mitigation across the organization based on these metrics
- Complex Work Stream Delivery : Support and organize the delivery of critical and complex work streams across the aeronautical and maritime connectivity services infrastructure, spanning both space and ground segments; provide technical leadership in decision-making, issue resolution and during the design review process
- Requirements Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams of software and hardware engineers to define and manage project requirements and scope
- Schedule Management : Oversee day-to-day management of deliverables, dependencies, and project schedules, ensuring projects progress through incremental phases effectively
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with the leadership team at all levels to establish processes that track goals, objectives, milestones, progress, and risks. Drive organizational alignment on trade-offs and priorities
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, preferably in the connectivity industry
- 5+ years of experience in a technical field of software development, network infrastructure and/or connectivity services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in defining and tracking project metrics and KPIs
- Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
