Lead the development of a company-wide homeownership data platform connecting client, loan, home-search, servicing, and financial information. Build and mentor a product leadership team, establish product strategy and best practices, improve data quality and identity resolution, integrate external data, and drive measurable client outcomes through experimentation and analysis.

Build the most complete picture of homeownership anywhere.
Rocket has home search, mortgages, servicing and personal finance under one roof. Your job is to connect them into one picture of every homeowner in America.
No other company sees as much of homeownership as Rocket. Someone can tour homes on Redfin, get a loan from Rocket Mortgage, make their payments to Rocket Mortgage and budget in Rocket Money. Some of that is connected today. Most of the value is in connecting the rest.
What you'll build
Start with the client. We want to be able to pull up any Rocket client and see the whole picture: their loan, their home, what they've been looking at, who they've talked to and how it went. Today that can take a few systems and some guesswork. It shouldn't. Then go wider. Plenty of the people who'll need a mortgage in the next few years have never worked with Rocket. We want a book that includes them too, with enough detail to tell when something has changed in their life. Teams across Rocket will build on what you make, so it has to be reliable, easy to use and trusted.
At its core, it comes down to a simple question: would a client expect a homeownership platform to already know this?
This is a new role in a new area for the company. You'll start hands-on, as a player-coach, and build a flat team of senior individual contributors as the work grows.
About the role
  • Lead and mentor teams of digital product managers and leaders
  • Use operational trends and organizational goals to develop strategic themes and objectives
  • Collaborate with digital product management teams to align product strategies with overarching organizational goals
  • Promote a culture of product success through analysis, data-driven experimentation, hypothesis testing, measurement and client satisfaction
  • Lead the maturation of product management best practices and processes in the organization
  • Identify roadblocks preventing success of strategic themes or objectives and work with appropriate stakeholders to resolve
  • Drive trends and changes in the broader design, technology, business and regulatory landscapes
  • Conduct organizational planning, using insights from leadership and partnering teams to inform decisions
  • Develop short-, mid- and long-term key results with multiple teams and senior leaders to achieve objectives
  • Collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth
  • Identify, implement and drive adoption of best practices within the leadership community

About you
  • You've built products on big, messy data, and you've spent real time fixing the data itself
  • You've worked through identity problems like matching records, resolving duplicates and handling missing or conflicting data
  • You'll bring in external data and build strong relationships with data providers and partners, and keep it fresh for decisions at scale
  • You care how other teams use what you build, and you go talk to them
  • You'll bring data together to improve the client experience across touchpoints, and look past the first, easy wins to the next level of use cases
  • You'd rather talk about what moved than about what shipped, and you'll promote a culture of analysis, data-driven experimentation, hypothesis testing and measurement
  • You've hired and led product managers
  • You'll identify roadblocks to the strategy and work with stakeholders across the business to resolve them
  • You'll develop short-, mid- and long-term key results with multiple teams and senior leaders
  • You'll collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
