Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Process Engineers to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. Design and optimize processes, tooling, fixtures, and workstations; lead pFMEA, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and DFMA feedback for NPI. Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods, evaluate and implement manufacturing equipment/technologies, create technology roadmaps, and manage cross-functional projects, budgets, and schedules while mentoring engineers and partnering with Quality to drive continuous improvement.

The role develops stable, efficient manufacturing processes; improves quality, productivity, and OEE; manages capital equipment and tooling projects; designs fixtures and workstations; supports new product introduction; applies Lean, Six Sigma, GD&T, FMEA, DFMA, and statistical process analysis; and mentors engineers, technicians, and production teams.

Lead semiconductor process integration for InP photonic integrated circuit manufacturing. Troubleshoot process deviations and test failures, maintain fab specifications and test structures, monitor process capability, and drive yield, reliability, manufacturability, throughput, and cycle-time improvements. Support technology development, process transfer, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing ramp while collaborating with process engineering, operations, and technology development teams.

Leads the Solon site's automation program from launch through full-scale production. Sets technical strategy, directs automation system design and development, manages project scope, resources, timelines, risks, and execution, and coordinates controls, process, automation, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. Provides technical guidance on robotics, machine vision, PLCs, HMIs, and integrated manufacturing systems while communicating roadmap and progress to senior leadership. Develops technical talent and drives continuous improvement and technology adoption.
