Amazon recently announced a range of updates to its Fire TV family of products, including the introduction of generative AI in voice search, upgrades to the Fire TV Ambient Experience as well as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K. It also announced the launch of its Fire TV Soundbar.
The Fire TV Stick 4K Max comes with Amazon’s Fire TV Ambient Experience, which allows users to view their calendar reminders, control their smart devices and more while artwork is displayed in the background. It also features an upgraded core processor and support for Wi-Fi 6E.
Amazon has also updated its Fire TV experience with generative AI capabilities, aiming to enhance search, browse and recommendations by allowing customers to find content in a natural, conversational way. Users can ask Alexa questions about genres, actors, storylines and scenes to discover related content in Fire TV’s library.
