Joon Care is a teletherapy practice that provides high-quality and accessible mental health care to youth and young adults ages 13-24. We combine the benefits of one-on-one therapy with a convenient, app-based experience. Our unique approach leverages technology to make high-quality, evidence-based therapy more accessible and more engaging for teens and young adults. Our clients get the best of traditional therapy - live sessions with a dedicated and qualified therapist - but on their terms, using the mobile platforms they're most familiar with, and with tools to help them build skills and make change in their lives. Most importantly, it’s working. Our clients are, on average, reporting less anxiety and depression across their course of treatment with Joon. There are over 50 million teens and young adults between the ages of 13 and 24 in the United States and, according to the National Institute of Mental Health, approximately half experience anxiety, depression or other mental health disorders during these years. Moreover, according to the CDC, the mental health burden this age group faces is so high that suicide is now the second-leading cause of death among teens and young adults. The need has never been greater, and we are determined to provide a solution.

When contemplating the vision for fabric, our co-founder arrived at this: Commerce is about trade, and trade is social dealings between people. It’s also a common framework across all our differences as humans. People often connect through nationality, race, religion, and other constructs, but one of the best ways to connect is through commerce. To facilitate this, something is needed to revolutionize outdated e-commerce technology and platforms. We call this fabric.

adyn is on a mission to make scientific discovery more inclusive so everyone can live their healthiest life. ‍ Our vision is to be earth's most inclusive and patient-centric personalized medicine company. We are living in the age of the “medical research gender gap”—a disparity that exists because the vast majority of biological literature is based on single sex studies of males. Research shows that achieving gender equality in science and medicine will improve our standard of care and long-term health outcomes, not just for women, but for everyone. ‍ Our first product helps individuals identify the best birth control for their unique biology. We do this by integrating two biological readouts: genetics (read one time) and hormone levels (read multiple times throughout your life). By partnering with individuals, adyn provides medically actionable scientific insights and empowers them to proactively optimize their health—from birth control, to fertility, and beyond.

Komaza is revolutionizing African forestry by unlocking the potential for small-scale farmers to serve booming wood markets. By combining high-scale operations with digital intelligence, we are currently planting commercial-grade forests at a rate of over 1 million trees with 5,000+ new farmers per year, making us Kenya’s largest industrial tree planter. We hold the only sustainable blueprint for meeting Africa’s $30B wood supply crisis - by leveraging farmers’ contribution of land and labor, Komaza can access nearly limitless land and establish a hectare of trees for far less than big plantations. We recently raised a $28M Series B from top venture and climate investors and have rapidly grown to become one of Africa's top 5 commercial tree planters, producing one of the world's cheapest and most scalable carbon sequestration engines on the planet. We're supported by top environmental organizations including Conservation International and The Nature Conservancy.

At Aserto we want to help every SaaS application authorize like a great Enterprise application. Meeting the enterprise bar requires fine-grained permissions, role- and attribute-based access control, flexible and custom roles, integration with numerous enterprise identity providers and directories, and complete authorization logs to meet a growing list of data and privacy compliance standards. Today, engineering teams have to invest considerable effort in building, maintaining, and evolving a “table stakes” set of capabilities that are tricky to get right, yet aren’t visible to the end-user and don’t offer meaningful differentiation. From the enterprise customer’s perspective, the IT teams that operate these SaaS applications have to live in dozens (or hundreds) of different permissions consoles - a fractured, error-prone, frustrating experience resulting in misconfigurations, data leaks, and manual, soul-crushing compliance audits. No wonder everyone we talk to feels like authorization is broken! At Aserto, we want to address these pain points at the source: by creating a simple, opinionated framework that engineers can use to easily incorporate authorization into their applications. Engineers win by integrating a modern, cloud-native service instead of having to reinvent the wheel. SaaS vendors win by shortening sales cycles with an enterprise-ready set of authorization capabilities, satisfying the infamous “enterprise requirements spreadsheet”. IT teams win by leveraging consistent, reusable authorization policies across their applications. Compliance teams win by having comprehensive authorization logs that help them easily meet audit requirements.
