CrossCountry Consulting is one of the fastest-growing professional services firms in the country, and Seattle is an important Tier 1 growth market. We are looking for a seasoned, exceptionally well-networked Client Relationship Executive to join our Seattle team and help shape and build the firm’s presence across the Seattle and Northwest Region.

Working closely with our Practice Leaders across all offerings, including Accounting Advisory, Risk Advisory, and Technology-Enabled Transformation, you will drive new client relationships with the Office of the CFO, Private Equity sponsors, and C-suite and board-level leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies. CrossCountry has made a significant investment in AI capability and an AI lab- our Seattle team sells AI-enabled services across all practice areas, creating a genuinely differentiated conversation with clients.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a growing, collaborative, and entrepreneurial firm at exactly the right moment.

What You'll Do:

    • Build and convert a pipeline of new client relationships across Seattle and the Northwest Region- developing trusted relationships within the Office of the CFO, with Private Equity sponsors, and at C-suite and board level, and working collaboratively with CrossCountry’s practice leaders and delivery teams to convert opportunities into engagements.
    • Leverage your network across the CFO, Controller, finance leadership, board, and Private Equity communities to position CrossCountry as the go-to advisory partner in the Seattle area.
    • Develop, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, including C-Suite, controllers, finance leadership, board members, Private Equity sponsors, and centers of influence.
    • Proactively engage your network, including audit partners, service providers, professional associations, and industry forums, to drive business development and generate pipeline.
    • Plan and execute unique, high-impact business development networking events that build CrossCountry’s brand and presence in the Seattle market.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive client relationship strategy, coordinating internal and external resources to optimize CrossCountry’s position across the Seattle market.
    • Collaborate with leaders across all service lines to craft and execute targeted go-to-market strategies aligned with the firm’s relationship-centric and AI-enabled approach.
    • Be part of building and scaling a world-class national sales organization and client relationship capability.
    • Track and report on pipeline performance, providing regular updates to firm leadership on activity, opportunities, and revenue forecast.

What You'll Bring:

    • 10+ years of demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management, with a proven track record of selling within professional services, consulting, staffing, or software to the Office of the CFO.
    • Exceptional, well-established professional network across the Seattle region — with trusted, senior-level relationships spanning the Office of the CFO, C-suite, board members, and Private Equity sponsors at mid-market and enterprise companies.
    • Demonstrated track record of identifying, developing, and closing significant new client relationships — working collaboratively with delivery leaders and practice experts to win.
    • Knowledge of the business development and client relationship cycle — including sales planning, lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, and go-to-market strategy.
    • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, technology-enabled environment — curious about how AI and emerging solutions are reshaping the advisory landscape and the Office of the CFO.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and with all levels of the firm.
    • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Creative, self-confident, and flexible.
    • An entrepreneurial spirit and excitement around building something meaningful in a high-growth market.

  • For applicants located in Washington State, CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $250,000 annually, which takes into account a wide range of factors including skills, experience, education, business needs, and internal equity.
  • This role is also eligible for variable incentive compensation (commission) based on revenue generated by the individual. Total on‑target earnings are expected to range from approximately $450,000 – $500,000 annually, though actual earnings are uncapped and may vary based on individual performance.
  • In addition, this role may be eligible to participate in the firm’s long‑term incentive program, which may include incentive units, subject to applicable plan terms, approvals, and eligibility requirements
  • This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
