Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story — turning product innovation into customer obsession. We develop messaging, shape the brand, and bring our platform to life through thoughtful, compelling content. Our team spans Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing, and works cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Business Development, and Design to drive growth and build trust.

What you’ll do

Brex is seeking a deeply analytical, growth-rooted Senior Growth Marketing Manager to own, scale, and optimize our Paid Social engine, with Meta as the core growth driver and a clear mandate to test and scale emerging channels.

In this role, you will be accountable for down-funnel pipeline, efficient CAC, and customer acquisition. You won't just optimize campaigns; you will engineer signal architecture, build scalable audience models, and establish a high-velocity creative testing engine. Critically, you know how to build brand through a performance lens, connecting upper-funnel investments to near-term impact and long-term value creation. You’ll help accelerate Brex’s growth by scaling what works, continuously improving how we operate, and unlocking new opportunities for impact.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our Seattle office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. Team members are expected to work in-office three days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). Brex also offers the flexibility to work remotely for up to four weeks per year, in one-week increments.

Responsibilities

  • Growth & Pipeline Ownership: Own Meta + emerging channel budgets, CAC efficiency, conversion, and downstream pipeline/revenue across self-serve and sales-led motions.
  • Signal & Measurement Strategy: Partner with Data and Marketing Ops to improve conversion signals, CAPI, and offline conversion tracking, enabling platforms to optimize toward higher-quality customers.
  • Structured Experimentation: Build and execute a continuous, hypothesis-driven testing framework across audiences, bidding strategies, optimization events, landing pages, and creative concepts; document learnings to turn paid social into a predictable acquisition channel.
  • Full-Funnel Growth: Build paid social strategies that create demand at the top of the funnel and efficiently convert it through retargeting and lower-funnel programs.
  • Creative Strategy: Translate performance data into creative hypotheses and partner with Brand and Design to test, iterate, and scale winning concepts.
  • Audience Strategy: Use first-party data, intent signals, modeled audiences, lookalikes, and platform automation to identify and scale high-value audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Analytics, Marketing Ops, Field / Events team, PMM, and Sales to connect paid social performance & programs to downstream pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of growth or performance marketing experience, with deep hands-on expertise managing and scaling Meta as a primary acquisition channel.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a paid social channel end to end, including strategy, budgets, forecasting, campaign architecture, optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Relentlessly analytical: Deep understanding of unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback periods), attribution modeling, and how to connect platform metrics directly to down-funnel business impact.
  • Experience running full-funnel paid social programs, from awareness/video and demand generation through conversion and pipeline.
  • Strong expertise in audience strategy and platform automation, including first-party audiences, lookalikes, broad targeting, retargeting, and automated campaign products.
  • Strong understanding of conversion signals and measurement, including Meta CAPI, server-side tracking, attribution, conversion-event strategy, and CRM/offline conversion data.
  • Demonstrated experience building structured experimentation roadmaps across creative, audiences, bidding, optimization events, and new platform capabilities.
  • Strong creative judgment and experience writing briefs and translating performance data into actionable creative recommendations.
  • Excellent communicator who can operate autonomously and influence cross-functional partners across Brand, PMM, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing Ops, and Sales.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in fin-tech marketing or marketing to finance professionals.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth or hybrid demand models.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $131,080 - $163,850. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
