About the team

The Senior Industry Principal, Strategic Value Advisory serves as a trusted advisor to Kinaxiscustomers and prospects, offering deep industry expertise in supply chain management,transformation strategy, and value engineering. Operating across both install-base and pre-sales engagements, the Senior Industry Principal uses a consultative, value-based approach toidentify strategic opportunities, shape solution vision, and develop tailored roadmaps thatdemonstrate how Kinaxis solutions can address complex supply chain challenges and delivermeasurable business value.While this role spans both new prospects and current accounts, it is primarily anchored in theexisting customer base—driving deeper solution adoption, maximizing continuous businessvalue, and shaping future transformation roadmaps through strategic workshops and valueengineering.

What you will do

1) Lead Value Assessment and Business Diagnostic workshops for customers andprospects, assessing business processes, solution adoption, organizationalcapabilities, and future business requirements to identify improvementopportunities, develop future-state roadmaps, and align on strategic priorities.


2) Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Productteams to develop customer-specific recommendations, roadmaps, and solution strategies that align with customer objectives.


3) Apply domain expertise in areas such as demand planning, S&OP, supplyplanning, supplier collaboration, business analytics, reporting, and infrastructuretechnologies.

4) Demonstrate deep knowledge of Kinaxis solutions, both current and emerging,and translate complex industry challenges and trends into tailored Kinaxissolutions that align with each customer's unique and evolving business needs,driving greater adoption.

5) Lead value engineering efforts by creating and presenting business cases thatclearly demonstrate ROI and the strategic value of Kinaxis solutions, helpingcustomers maximize the value of their Kinaxis investment.

6) Maintain industry-leading expertise in supply chain and technology domains to supportcustomer success and innovation.


7) Serve as a thought leader in the supply chain industry by contributing to white papers,case studies, and industry publications that showcase Kinaxis’ innovation and expertise.

8) Represent Kinaxis at industry conferences, symposiums, and webinars through keynotepresentations, panel discussions, and expert sessions.9) Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop thought leadership contentthat aligns with emerging trends and customer challenges.

10) Build and maintain a strong professional presence in the industry through activeparticipation in forums, associations, and digital platforms

What we are looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, supply chain transformation, business process improvement, value engineering, strategic advisory services, and/or pre-sales leadership, with a strong background in supply chain management.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in supply chain fundamentals, industry best practices, and SCM/ERP solutions.
  • Graduate degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
  • Proven success working with clients across multiple industries to design and deliver leading supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business value assessments, operating model design, capability planning, or strategic roadmap development initiatives.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to effectively position software capabilities and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of successfully working across sales, consulting, services, support, customer success, and product teams to drive customer outcomes.
  • Background in finance or strong financial acumen is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of supply chain solutions to customers, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in supply chain
  • optimization, including predictive analytics, demand forecasting, anomaly detection, intelligent automation, and decision support capabilities.
  • A valid passport to meet the required domestic and international travel requirements
