Overview

AG Consulting Partners is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Technical Program Manager – Power Platform & Automation to support a Responsible AI (RAI) program within a large enterprise technology environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong problem solver who enjoys building solutions, improving processes, and driving meaningful operational improvements. The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical development, business analysis, automation, and program management experience, with the ability to independently take initiatives from concept through implementation.

This role is approximately 80% focused on technical development, automation, reporting, and operational improvements, with the remaining 20% supporting Responsible AI governance and impact assessment activities.

We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to solve complex technical and business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development & Automation

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Build solutions to streamline intake processes, case management, assessment workflows, and operational activities.
  • Independently troubleshoot complex application and automation issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support application configuration, testing, maintenance, and enhancements, including solutions leveraging Dataverse.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve system reliability, and increase operational efficiency.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex or ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend scalable improvements.
  • Develop process maps, functional requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.
  • Evaluate dependencies, data integrity, operational risks, and downstream impacts when designing solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

Technical Program Management

  • Independently manage technical and operational initiatives from requirements gathering through design, development, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Drive multiple concurrent projects, managing priorities, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactively identify challenges, recommend solutions, and take ownership of issues through resolution.
  • Balance strategic program objectives with hands-on technical execution and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations effectively to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Data, Reporting & Responsible AI Support

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar technologies.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Investigate reporting issues and improve data quality across applications and workflows.
  • Support Responsible AI impact assessments, governance reviews, and related operational processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate AI use cases, document findings, and identify potential risks related to privacy, security, and Responsible AI principles.

Requirements

You have:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, building, implementing, and maintaining enterprise business applications and automated workflows.
  • Strong practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, including independently developing and troubleshooting solutions.
  • Proven ability to take technical initiatives from initial requirements through solution design, development, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently investigate complex issues and resolve root causes.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, process improvements, and functional solutions.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, establish direction, and deliver results with limited oversight.
  • Strong analytical thinking and understanding of interconnected systems, applications, and data flows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
  • A hands-on mindset and willingness to contribute to both technical development and detailed operational activities.

You might also have:

  • Experience developing solutions using Dataverse.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data integrations, or related technologies.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled workflows, AI agents, or solutions using Copilot Studio or comparable technologies.
  • Exposure to Responsible AI, privacy, compliance, technology risk management, or governance processes.
  • Experience working within large enterprise technology environments.
  • Background supporting operational transformation, process modernization, or enterprise automation initiatives.
What Makes You Successful

You're someone who doesn't just manage technical projects — you can personally build, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions.

You enjoy solving problems that don't come with clear instructions, can move comfortably between technical development and business operations, and take pride in seeing your work through to completion.

You're collaborative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and motivated by opportunities to improve how systems and processes work.

Most importantly, you bring a strong sense of ownership and the ability to turn complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google

  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
