About the Role:

We're searching for a Technical Program Manager to join Remitly's Security team in Seattle. As a member of the Security and Privacy team, you will work closely with the corporate security, customer security and security enablement teams to ensure their ongoing success.This position reports to the manager leading the Application Security team.

You Will:

  • Engage with multiple partners across the globe to coordinate Application Security planning and risk remediation
  • Establish credibility and maintain close working relationships with partner teams (Security, Engineering, IT, Legal, Customer Success, etc.)
  • Lead the definition and reporting on key metrics to track success and growth of the team
  • Ensure key initiatives are tracked and objectives met promptly by coordinating dependencies across multiple teams
  • Communicate program goals and status to partners and help to drive outcomes for Remitly and our customers
  • Manage strategic programs, roadmaps and plans and drive improvements in processes and documentation for the Application Security

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical program manager
  • In depth working knowledge of application security best practices
  • Experience with trade-offs in information security
  • Experience leading cross-team initiatives
  • Strong alignment to our mission and values
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization in a global environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: exposure to cloud services like AWS, familiarity with agile engineering practices

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $120,000-$150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
