Position: Technical Program Manager 

Location: Bellevue, WA Headquarters-Hybrid (3 days per week)  

Annual Salary Range: $150,000 - $160,000 

Reports to: VP of Engineering

 

TO BE CONSIDERED: 

MUST be a current local resident with the ability to be in the Bellevue office 3 days a week

Role Overview 

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to play a critical role in the delivery of our new, innovative AI platform - RISE. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with significant upside, working closely with engineering leadership and reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. 


This role operates across a multi-team, org-wide engineering program and is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, drives execution relentlessly, and brings clarity and accountability to ambiguous problems. 


Your Next Opportunity:

  • Own and drive the overall program schedule for the RISE across multiple engineering teams 
  • Lead execution of complex, cross-team initiatives, proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs 
  • Facilitate engineering team stand-ups to ensure alignment, focus, and forward momentum 
  • Lead Scrum of Scrums to coordinate work across teams and surface issues early 
  • Serve as the point person for cross-team sprint reviews, ensuring visibility, accountability, and follow-through 
  • Establish and reinforce clear ownership across teams and initiatives 
  • Manage the program through Jira Plan 
  • Partner closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders 
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly to leadership 
  • Create and maintain program reports, dashboards, and executive-ready views of delivery health

What Qualifies You?

  • Technical fluency to translate product and business requirements into clear technical stories 
  • Ability to credibly engage in technical discussions with engineering teams 
  • Comfortable using Jira, including advanced planning features (Jira Plans) 
  • Ability to perform simple scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) to generate reports and dashboards 
  • Strong understanding of software development and delivery practices 
  • Hands-on coding for production systems is not required 
  • Seniority & Experience:
    • 4–7 years of experience in Technical Program Management or a related role 
    • Proven success driving cross-team software delivery 
    • Experience operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments 
    • Platform, infrastructure, or large-scale product experience is a plus 
  • Leadership Traits & Soft Skills 
    • Strong self-starter with a bias toward action and delivery 
    • Comfortable engaging in healthy conflict and holding teams accountable 
    • Direct, clear, and confident communicator 
    • Resilient under pressure and comfortable with difficult conversations 


Stakeholders & Reporting 

  • Reports directly to the VP of Engineering 
  • Works closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional partners 
  • Regular interaction with engineering leadership and executive stakeholders
