Amazon has announced the Buy with Prime feature for Shopify, an app integration that allows merchants to offer Prime members free delivery and returns through Amazon’s fulfillment network. Through Shopify merchant stores, Prime members will be able to access their shopping benefits, including using payment methods from their Amazon wallets.
The Buy with Prime app for Shopify aims to help merchants save time and resources. In addition to offering Amazon Pay as a payment option within Shopify Payments, the integration will provide merchants with automatically synced orders, promotions, catalog listings and taxes within their Shopify admin.
The app will start rolling out as invite-only to select Shopify merchants and will be available to all U.S.-based Shopify merchants using Amazon’s fulfillment network by the end of September.
