New York City-based event marketing company Splash has opened a Seattle office with plans to hire.

Splash provides an end-to-end platform that makes event planning easier for companies. Users can design branded marketing materials for events, capture attendee data, assign tasks to team members, check in guests and analyze event data.

The platform also integrates with systems like Salesforce and Slack.

Customers have sold $70 million in event tickets on Splash, the company says, and produced 670,000 events. More than half of Fortune 500 companies use the platform — including Facebook and Expedia.

So far, Splash has six employees in its Seattle location at 3417 Evanston Ave. N. in Fremont, GeekWire reported. Five of them formerly worked at neighboring data visualization software company Tableau — which was acquired by Salesforce this summer.

Splash plans to double the size of its Seattle team in the next year. It’s currently listing openings for a senior product designer and senior product manager that will work at least partially from Seattle.

Among its three existing offices in New York City, Philadelphia and Phoenix — and remote hubs in London, Lago and Madrid — the company employs 178 people globally. It intends to hit 200 by the end of 2019.

Founded in 2011 by Ben Hindman and Brett Boskoff, Splash has $14.5 million in total funding.
