Underwrite construction-related insurance accounts within delegated authority, making data-driven accept/decline and pricing decisions. Manage and grow broker and client relationships, assess contractor and project exposures, negotiate terms and referrals, and collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Risk Control and Legal. Contribute to product development, identify emerging risks, and mentor junior underwriters.

Underwrite and negotiate surety accounts, perform financial and risk analysis, manage profitability and retention of an assigned book, develop agent and broker relationships, evaluate financial statements and work-in-progress, identify product opportunities, resolve underwriting/workflow issues, mentor junior staff, and support special projects.

Underwrite and price complex insurance policies within authority, manage a broker/agent and client portfolio, develop profitable business, provide data-driven portfolio insights, collaborate across teams, mentor other underwriters, and contribute to underwriting and process improvements while maintaining regulatory and legal knowledge.
