As a Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer, you'll build and deploy machine learning models, enhance system performance, and collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams for effective solutions.

Lead and grow the Infrastructure organization responsible for cloud infrastructure, SRE, and security. Drive technical strategy, roadmap, reliability, scalability, cost optimization, and operational excellence while partnering with Engineering, Product, and Customer teams. Represent Infrastructure with executives and customers, review architecture, provide technical guidance, and occasionally contribute code.

Lead and grow a 9-10 engineer cross-functional team to own AI product areas (Quote Agent, Submission Triage, Product Studio). Define architecture for agentic/LLM systems, ensure engineering quality, partner with Product/Design/GT M stakeholders, and drive delivery of scalable, production AI features while fostering ownership and continuous growth.

Lead and deliver complex customer implementations, debug and build integrations, drive architectural decisions, run technical discovery, mentor junior engineers, and write production/integration code (Python, JavaScript, SQL). Serve as technical escalation and represent FDE in product and cross-functional discussions.

Lead technical pre-sales engagements for an AI-native insurance platform: run discovery, design solutions, deliver tailored demos, translate customer workflows into configurations, support RFPs/security questionnaires, build demo environments and onboarding materials, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform roadmap and post-sale handoffs.

Own full sales cycle for large, complex P&C and specialty insurance carriers and MGAs. Build executive relationships, map stakeholders, negotiate and close multi-quarter enterprise deals. Develop account strategies, partner with engineering, product, and customer success for handoffs and expansion, and translate Federato's AI-native platform value to underwriting and executive leadership. Contribute playbooks and best practices to scale strategic account motion.

Build and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines and internal frameworks to support ML and product teams. Drive architecture, observability, data quality, and engineering best practices across AI/ML workflows and prompt-engineering pipelines.
