Lead and grow a backend and full-stack engineering team responsible for Tradeify’s live trading platform. Partner with Product and Engineering teams on platform integrations, architecture, delivery, code quality, CI/CD, reliability, observability, and incident response. Remain hands-on through code reviews, design guidance, and technical problem solving while managing performance, hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional communication.

Lead the engineering team building Arcnine, Tradeify’s real-time trading platform from development through launch. Hire and develop engineers, guide architecture, partner with Product and Design, remain hands-on with code, establish quality and delivery practices, and own reliability, observability, and incident response. The role also contributes to company-wide engineering standards and communicates progress, risks, and needs to founders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Own Tradeify’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, observability, databases, vulnerability management, access controls, security monitoring, incident response, and compliance readiness. The role combines hands-on DevOps and security operations, including AWS administration, infrastructure as code, secure deployment practices, remediation tracking, runbook development, and security reviews. It partners closely with engineering to improve release reliability and maintain a secure, high-performance trading platform.

Own revenue accounting and the monthly revenue close across entities and product lines. Lead ASC 606 assessments, technical accounting memoranda, reconciliations, deferred revenue, journal entries, controls, and reporting. Support broader close, audits, financial statement preparation, and U.S. GAAP compliance. Partner cross-functionally on new offerings, investigate data issues, and implement automation to improve accuracy, traceability, and close efficiency.

Own Tradeify’s multi-entity tax function, including federal, state, local, indirect tax compliance, tax provision support, planning, audits, and risk management. The role coordinates external advisors, researches tax issues, supports entity structuring and expansion, and partners with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Payroll, and Operations. It will also build scalable tax controls, processes, documentation, and data flows while ensuring accurate, timely filings, payments, provisions, and business guidance.

Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities; reconcile high-volume payment flows (merchant fees, chargebacks, PayPal, payouts); maintain general ledger and intercompany eliminations; prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; produce US GAAP financial statements; build controls and scalable accounting processes; partner with FP&A; support auditors; evaluate accounting systems and grow the accounting team.
