Lead full-cycle recruiting for strategic business and operations roles at Handshake AI. Partner with executives and hiring managers on org design, headcount planning, sourcing strategy, and hiring decisions. Build pipelines for difficult roles, provide market intelligence, optimize recruiting processes using data and metrics, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The role is based five days per week in the Seattle office.

Evaluate AI model requests and responses involving violence, threats, weapons, and dark fiction. Distinguish fictional or defensive content from real-world harmful intent, write concise policy-based rationales, create adversarial prompts, identify policy gaps, and participate in calibration discussions. The role requires careful, consistent judgment while regularly engaging with graphic and distressing material.

Lead design and execution of large-scale annotation and labeling programs for AI model policy and safety. Build scalable annotation frameworks and playbooks, manage annotator teams, identify labeling errors and data trends, collaborate with policy leads and frontier AI lab stakeholders, and drive evaluations that inform model training, evaluation, and enforcement decisions.

Evaluate AI models for dangerous CBRNE-related outputs, designing adversarial prompts, multi-turn attack chains, and threat models. Assess technical accuracy and real-world risk, distinguish open-source information from harmful uplift, score responses using severity rubrics, and document failures. Collaborate with AI researchers and policy teams to improve model safeguards and evaluation frameworks while following strict ethical and operational security protocols.
